This adorable little owl candle is hand made from pure beeswax and a hemp wick. Natural beeswax smells gently of honey, but can also be customized with scent. I offer a variety of essential oils for a personalized aroma and custom colors as well.

Burn time: Made of 100 percent beeswax, each tea light will burn for 8 to 9 hours. Votives are typically 2 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall. Pure beeswax votives have an average burn time of 16 hours. Before relighting a votive, trim the wick to about a 3/8 inch

Beeswax candles are perfect for burning daily and have several benefits.

1) Burn Longer

Solid beeswax candles burn longer than regular paraffin or soy candles. For example, our small votive candles burn about 6-7 hours. Do not place near air vents as the gusts of air can burn them down quicker.

2) Pull Toxins from the Air

As beeswax candles burn they pull toxins as they ionize the air. Negative ions bind with toxins which helps remove them from the air providing a cleaner environment for you and your family.

3) Soot Free

Pure, unsecured Beeswax candles burn cleanly and have no added fragrances or colorings.

Hemp wicks provide even more benefits:

1) Hemp wick will burn slower than other wicks (even other natural options like jute) with a lower temperature flame and little to no smoke. Your candles will last longer and the burning experience will be infinitely more pleasant.

2) With its beeswax coating, hemp wick is essentially waterproof making it a reliable flame for the outdoors as well.

3) Hemp doesn't need any pesticides to grow; cotton needs a ton.

4) Hemp requires half the territory to grow as cotton.

5) Cotton requires twice the amount of water to grow as hemp.
